My Crochet Journey So Far

I learned to crochet when I was 16. My Great Grandmother was living with us at the time. She was a prolific crocheter. I had broken up with a boyfriend and was moping around the house. My Grandmother couldn't stand it so she sat me down and taught me how to crochet. She taught me how to crochet the granny square and let me tell you that that was the HUGEST granny square afghan that anyone has ever made! I just kept going and going and going! I slowly branched out from making afghans to making sweaters and other things. I don't intend to post patterns because these are not my original designs. I just thought it would be fun to have some sort of record of what I have made and who it went to.

beard hat-October 2011

A friend sent a picture of a hat with a beard and mustache hooked to it. She said her husband would like one. Then my mom commented and said that my dad would like one too. Sooooo, I went online and found a pattern and made this up. What do you think? It is big on me, but it will fit my dad and my friends husband pretty good I think.

This is my friend Karin. I made her a hat and I made her husband one too! I also made my nephew one. He saw my dad's and wanted one himself.

Here's my Dad with his hat on. He wears it when he is out riding his Harley. I think I would be kinda scared if I saw something like this walking into my place of business! LOL!

Here's my nephew Cameron! Isn't that funny? He loves it! Bwahahaha!

Here's the pattern address:BEARD/MUSTACHE
for the beard/mustache. You make your own hat any design you would like.
